WELCOME TO CYCLO-SHOP!
GET TO KNOW WHO IS BEHIND THIS BRAND!
Hello everyone, im Gonzalo Lizama, Civil Engineer from Chile Currently living in Australia, and i want to share with you my story.
I have always been a bike enthusiast manly in Chile where biking is a collective vibe. After leaving my job as a cost engineer i decided to travel the world with my bike.
The trip began when landed in Canada where i was lucky enough to meet all my heroes and also get to know great part of BC.
The next country I visited was Australia, a place I fell in love with. It has provided me and my bike with countless unforgettable experiences, for which I am forever grateful.
After all this time, i have gained a lot of knowledge and now it is time to try something new and in someway give back to the bike community here in the OZ.
This is why i started a year ago www.cyclorepair.com and now https://www.cyclo-shop.com.au/
Countless experiences and crazy stories from my customers, i love that!
Where can you find me?
Possibly fixing bikes so give me a call at 0414638263 or at boomers bike park!
a bit of my favourite places to ride on the Gold Coast:
Boomerang Farm is compact but packed with variety. With around a dozen purpose-built gravity trails, the park caters to everyone-from first-timers to pro freeriders. The shuttle service runs Friday through Monday, making it easy to maximize your descents without the grind of climbing (though e-bikers do sometimes tackle the fire road).
My personal Highlights:
Rodney, Black Betty, DH2 & DH3: Black and double-black trails with big jumps, rock gardens, wall rides, and serious airtime. Rodney’s Road Gap and the legendary 60-foot jump on the Big Line are not for the faint-hearted.
Mini Mega: Features like the Toilet Bowl drop keep things spicy for advanced riders.
The vibe at Boomers is pure Gold Coast-laid-back, friendly, and a bit wild. The shuttle rides themselves feel like a mini adventure, bouncing up through rainforest with riders buzzing about their next run. At the top, you’ll find trails clearly marked by name and difficulty, all funneling back to the shuttle pickup for effortless laps.
